Nationwide Survey Shows Most Americans Support Hunting, Fishing

From 1995-2006 hunting has increased 6 percentage points, whilst fishing has had a minor decrease of 1.7 percentage points.
This nationwide survey shows that support of legal hunting and fishing has increased over the past decade, with 3 of 4 Americans in support.
In 1995, 73 percent of Americans approved of hunting while in 2006, 78 percent approved of hunting.
Approval of fishing has decreased slightly, dropping only 1.7 percentage points from 95 percent in 1995 to 93.3 percent in 2006
