- 59% (to fight disease)
- 53% (to Church or faith based causes)
- 43% (international disaster relief)
- 38% (animal protection)
- 30% (schools or universities)
- 23% (politics)
- 22% (arts)
- 14% (issue advocacy groups)
The percentages of those donating to animal welfare causes were:
- 64% (Pre-Boomer)
- 45% (Boomer)
- 27% (post Boomer)
