2011 Harris Poll EquiTrend Shows Sentiment Toward Consumer Brands Improving for Second Straight Year
The 2011 Harris poll, “EquiTrend,” conducted on public sentiment toward consumer brands concludes that those brands that “give us comfort and provide value” are responsible for improved attitudes toward consumer brands for the second year in a row. The top ranked consumer brands included an animal welfare organization in the area of non-profits.
Within the category of non-profit brands, the Best Friends Animal Society ranked most highly among consumers, followed by human health groups including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
