A majority of Americans have taken steps towards protecting their home from structural damage from insects or wild animals.

Asks respondents to address the likeliness of damage to their homes from “insects or wild animals such as rodents, squirrels, and deer, “including whether or not they’ve take steps to protect their home from such damage.”

8% of respondents felt that structural damage from insects or wild animals such as rodents, squirrels, and deer was very likely to happen to their home, while 18% felt it was somewhat likely. 63% of respondents reported having taken steps to protect their home from structural damage from insects or wild animals such as rodents, squirrels, and deer.
