New Survey Shows 93% Of People Will Not Wear Real Fur
The results of a 2007 TNS opinion poll show that 93% of the British public say they refuse to wear real animal fur and 43% say they always check labels to see if a fur they are buying is real or fake.
In other findings:
- 92% of respondents think that both real and fake fur should be clearly labeled.
- 61% do not think celebrities should wear real fur.
- 61% say there is a moral difference between animals farmed for meat and those farmed for fur.
- 91% said they would not buy real fur even if it was available cheaply.
