Most Companion Animal Owners Say Their Animals Have A Sixth Sense

A majority of companion animal owners in the U.S. believe that their animals have a sixth sense in regards to bad weather.
According to the results of this poll, two-thirds of American companion animal owners say their animal companions have a sixth sense about bad weather while 43% say their companion animals can sense bad news.
Nearly three-fourths (72%) of dog owners have received bad weather warnings from their companion animal, compared with 66% of cat owners. Bad news warnings were somewhat less frequently received by companion animal owners; 47% of dog owners and 41% of cat owners say their companion animals have alerted them to bad news.
