EPIC/MRA Poll Reveals Michigan Voters Strongly Oppose Dove Hunting
Evaluates Michigan voters’ opinions about possible legislation to ban dove hunting, and projected support of legislators who vote to allow such hunting.
15% of respondents ‘strongly approve’ of ‘legislation that would allow mourning doves to be hunted in Michigan,’ 18% ‘somewhat approve’ of it, 15% ‘somewhat disapprove’ of it, and 37% ‘strongly disapprove’ of it.
3% of respondents would be ‘much more likely to vote for [their] state representative or state senator in the next election’ if they ‘voted in favor of legislation to allow mourning doves to be hunted in Michigan,’ 3% would be ‘somewhat more’ likely, 10% would be ‘somewhat less’ likely, and 13% would be ‘much less’ likely to.
