Raquel Costa
Raquel Costa is a primatologist specializing in human-animal interactions. Her latest research examined the effects of close proximity with humans on both wild and captive gorillas, primarily focusing on their welfare. She has worked in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and currently live in Japan, where she completed my PhD and postdoctoral research. She is dedicated to understanding animal behavior to minimize stress in animals while educating people about conservation and animal welfare.
