A longtime animal advocate and creator of The Good Kid Project, Nick Coughlin lives in Saint Paul with his cattle dog, Pico. He has testified before the Minneapolis city council in support of a ban on wild animal circuses, worked for Farm Sanctuary as an education coordinator, and volunteers regularly for Compassionate Action for Animals. Nick believes that teaching kids to treat all animals with kindness is one of the most important things we can do. Kathy Coughlin, a freelance copy editor and writer, has been an animal advocate most of her adult life and serves as a volunteer district leader for the Humane Society of the United States. She has been a humane educator with Bridges of Respect since 2014. In her free time, she enjoys sports, music, and gardening. She lives in Oak Grove with her husband Mike and their dog Selby.
