Carolina is deeply concerned about the impact of human systems and behaviours on other-than-human lives, particularly the cascading harms of industrial animal agriculture, and the impacts of human expansion on biodiversity. She works as a Research Analyst at Climateworks Centre based in Monash University and holds a Masters of Biological Sciences from the Australian National University. Carolina hopes to contribute to a future where the dominant narrative of human exceptionalism shifts to one of non-anthropocentrism, and is deeply inspired by Zen Buddhist and Daoist attitudes towards the interconnectedness of life.
