Mary Cate Hyde is passionate about wildlife conservation and animal advocacy. She graduated with a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 2023, and has conducted research on wild animals across three continents. She also co-founded The Insight Spark research magazine while she was in college, which focused on making summaries of academic articles more accessible to the public.
Layla Enriquez is a philosophy and psychology graduate from Melbourne, Australia, whose academic interests are in moral philosophy, epistemology and animal ethics. She has gained a deeper understanding about animal welfare issues from the Effective Altruism community at the University of Melbourne, which is also how she came across Faunalytics.
