This book discusses 20 contributions made to creating alternatives to animal testing.

This book is a compilation that contains 20 contributions addressing alternatives to animal testing that were presented at the international symposium by the Swiss Institute for Alternatives to Animal Testing.

This work offers a broad survey on alternatives to animal experimentation. Recently developed replacement strategies are described in detail from a scientific point of view.
