Vera Flocke is the executive director of a private non-profit foundation that supports farmed animal advocacy organizations. She is a philosopher by training and served for several years as a college professor, teaching logic and metaphysics, before joining the philanthropy sector. She enjoys thinking and writing about various topics, including animal ethics, food, organizational psychology, and philanthropy. Outside of work, Vera likes to do things with her hands: renovating , building, gardening, landscaping.
