Erika is passionate about more-than-human storytelling and animal studies. She is the author of Lamprey (2024) and the guest contributor for Dakota Gearhart’s collaborative animated podcast, Life Touching Life: “true love” (2023). Erika is an MLIS student at ODUGlobal and holds an MFA in poetry from Brooklyn College.
I’m Jahleel Wasser, an anthrozoologist driven by critical theory, posthumanism, and sentientism. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, which deepened my commitment to social justice and advocacy for all sentient beings, both human and nonhuman. My research embodies my values of anti-speciesism and anti-oppression.
Priska works as a scientific collaborator and holds a PhD in Epidemiology. She loves spending time with her cat, hosting vegan brunches for friends, dancing, and reading.
