Erin is a writer, creative, and educator passionate about the natural sciences. She especially loves learning more about zoology, botany, and entomology through scientific research and citizen science projects. Elena Nalon is a veterinarian and a passionate advocate for farmed animals. She holds a Ph.D. in veterinary science (welfare of breeding sows) and is an EBVS® certified European Veterinary Specialist in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics, and Law. She is currently the senior veterinary advisor at Eurogroup for Animals, the pan-European animal advocacy organization based in Brussels (Belgium), where she has worked since 2014. Reineke Hameleers is the CEO of Eurogroup for Animals, the leading pan-European animal protection organization convening more than 90 members in the E.U. and beyond. She is also a Vice-President of the World Federation for Animals and a member of the Netherlands Committee for the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific Purposes.
