Susan Gabriel has a PhD in Epidemiology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick, NJ, USA. She’s been an ethical vegan for 30+ years and is a passionate animal advocate dedicated to ending the inhumane treatment and use of animals. She has over 25 years of experience as a public health researcher in the Life Sciences sector and is very excited to bring her enthusiasm and expertise to Faunalytics. Susan is ‘mom’ to six rescue kitties and likes to spend her spare time cooking
vegan food, reading, and playing her ukulele.
Rowan advocates for the rights of animals in any capacity he can, from public debates to lobbying catering providers. Since graduating with a first-class degree in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bristol, he has also been working in community outreach and research for a number of Effective Altruism projects. Rowan hopes to deepen his involvement in the Effective Altruism movement to combat the suffering caused to animals by humans.
