Alaina is an Ordained Interspecies and Interfaith Animal Chaplain. She is the founder and sole practitioner of The Night Sky Garden Bereavement Care. Alaina instructs mindfulness techniques, advocates for exploited beings, and supports activists and nonactivists to guide them in forging a connection with their emotions and empowering individuals to navigate daily life with more confidence. Alaina holds a Vegan Permaculture Design certificate and offers a holistic vision of healing for humans, animals, and the environment. Narges is a PhD candidate at the University of Montreal, where she focuses on studying sleep through neuroimaging and electroencephalography techniques in individuals affected by traumatic brain injury. Having fostered orphaned squirrels and small rodents, she has developed a deep fascination with their intelligence and unique personalities. Motivated by a strong sense of responsibility and compassion for animals, Narges has joined Faunalytics to contribute to the organization's extensive library of research on animal issues. Her goal is to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and practical action to facilitate informed decisions and effective strategies to promote animal welfare.
