Kendall is a researcher, writer, editor, and aspiring altruist out of Atlanta. She holds a B.A. in English from GCSU and is pursuing a career in the nonprofit sector, focusing on global health & biosecurity. She maintains the Substack blog "Non For Proffitt" where she writes about medical research, public health, and effective altruism. Outside of work, she maintains a home with her partner and cat Fluffy and finds enjoyment in baking fresh bread and writing poetry.

Bala Seshasayee is a board member with Free the Oregon Zoo Elephants, an educational non-profit seeking a better life for captive elephants in Oregon and the non-profit Heart of Ganesh which works to minimize elephant-human conflicts in range countries. An engineer by training, he is passionate about animal rights and grassroots activism.
