Malina Tran is a software engineer and nonprofit communications specialist. At Vegan Hacktivists, Malina oversaw the organization’s brand and voice through marketing, social media, UX writing, and content creation. Her career has spanned working for government and nonprofits, as well as software consultancies and tech startups, in Los Angeles and New York City. Malina is a graduate of UCLA and currently resides in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Midori Nishioka is a social science researcher specializing in psychology. She completed her PhD and MA at the University of Waterloo and holds a BA from McGill University. As a writer at Vegan Hacktivists, she primarily supports grant writing and coordinating funding applications. She enjoys cooking, trying vegan restaurants, and drawing animals.
