Lorena is a veterinarian with a master’s degree in animal behavior and welfare, and a PhD in cat dementia. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at The University of California, Irvine, where she studies aging and dementia in dogs, cats, and horses. She is a true cat lady who also loves cooking, reading, watching films, and listening to music.
