Clare is a writer, editor, and translator who runs The Piglet, a Substack covering the farmed animal welfare crisis in Europe. She's currently a FutureKind fellow at compassionate AI accelerator Electric Sheep, focusing on AI and animal welfare. She has been vegan since 2009, a time when the cheese alternatives were barely edible (thank goodness times have changed). Clare is also a bibliophile, and can be found reading up to six books at a time due to her unrestrained enthusiasm for nonfiction. She does not recommend this approach.
