Norma is a Colombian DVM and PhD candidate in Computational Ecology at the Université de Montréal, where she explores the dynamics between infectious diseases and ecosystems. She aims to support advocacy and policy efforts using evidence-based insights, with the goal of creating a healthier, more compassionate world for both animals and people. Outside of research, she enjoys learning about visual arts and spending time with family and friends.
