Vicky holds an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare (with Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh and a degree in Business Administration from the University of the Aegean. She has conducted research on feline behaviour and welfare at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada, and on animal welfare policy across Europe at IRTA in Spain, with work published in peer-reviewed journals. A committed ethical vegan, she co-founded and coordinates Greece’s first and only MA in Animal Welfare, Ethics, and Law, and aims to drive systemic change for animals through science, education, and advocacy.
Lorena is currently completing her MSc in Clinical Psychology at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Compassion for oneself and others are close to her heart. In her free time, she enjoys playing improvisational theatre, rock concerts, or dressing up to go to renaissance fairs.
